All of the teachers, including the first two women Math teachers in Pioneer's history, are working to help students acquire the ability to manipulate math at different levels.

fftwvggg . un. if. FINE ARTS From music to clay pots, the courses offered in Fine Arts at Pioneer foster good taste and provide vocational training. A great variety of sights and sounds are evident in these class- rooms. Music of many descriptions vocal and instrumental echos from the music building daily. One of the outstanding achievements in the Ceramics I classes this year according to the instructor, Mrs. Simpson, was the construction of oversized coil pots fsee photo at leftl. These are some of the largest ever successfully glazed and tired at Pioneer. Mr. White of the drama department said that their pro- duction of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew was one of the outstanding highlights of the year.
