Mr. Eddy Curriculum Coordinator SPECIAL SERVICES What are special services? They are those little jobs that help the Pioneer campus to run smoothly. As curriculum coordinator, Mr. Eddy works with department heads, teachers, and students. He helps to develop courses of study. He coordinates period substitutes, and organizes the audio-visual program. He did an excellent iob of planning and supervising Back- to-School night. Mr. Low assists the Business and Activities Office in the physical aspects of running Pioneer. Included in his duties are the iobs of seeing to it that general repairs are made, moving and repairing school equipment, and coordinating custodial work. Mr. Hazard serves us by keeping our library in good order. He maintains our library with the highest degree of efficiency. Mrs. Whitman, our school nurse, keeps us healthy. She is always there to lend a hand when illness keeps Titans from doing their best. Without the help of these dedicated individuals, Pioneer could not function with the unsurpassed efficiency to which we have all grown accustomed. Many fortunate Pioneer seniors receive scholarships from P.T.A. and the Pioneer Teacher's Club. The Teacher's Club and P.T.A. also give Grad night assistance and chaperone at all of Pioneer's dances. Both of these hard working organizations help sponsor the Exploratory Work Experience Education program which gives Pioneer students in insight into various occupations. P. T. A.
