Press Club Peeks io Inform THK MAIN OBJKCTIVR of the Press Club is to inform the surrounding communities of current activities at Pinevillc High School. In order to fulfill this objective the members must prepare write-ups to be published in the Daily Town Talk and other similar duties. Of great assistance to the Press Club are the Rebe l Reporters. These two students, l.ibba Asher and Don Barker, have the responsibility of reporting weekly events of Pincville High School over KDBS radio station each Saturday morning. Thespians Well RepresenI Speech Dept. Thespians President, Barbara Fiiipi hesitates as she decides on what order of business she will carry on. THESPIANS IS a dramatic club composed of students that have had some experience in speech or drama. Each spring the Thespian members are able to try out for a role in their annual spring production which is open to students and community. Most of the members are members of a speech class or have taken speech at an earlier time. Under the guidance of Mrs. JoAnn Pharis, the students further develop their speaking techniques and gain valuable experience that can lx- used in all phases of life work. 59
