DELEGATES TO Pelican State arc chose by the faculty on the basis of character, service, scholarship, anti loyalty. They attend a week-long conference in Baton Rouge in the summer prior to their senior year. Being introduced to the mechanics of our government through this worthwhile program, the students take an active part in setting up mock governments in hopes that it will strengthen their leadership ability and knowledge of governmental affairs. Press Club Peeks io Inform THK MAIN OBJKCTIVR of the Press Club is to inform the surrounding communities of current activities at Pinevillc High School. In order to fulfill this objective the members must prepare write-ups to be published in the Daily Town Talk and other similar duties. Of great assistance to the Press Club are the Rebe l Reporters. These two students, l.ibba Asher and Don Barker, have the responsibility of reporting weekly events of Pincville High School over KDBS radio station each Saturday morning.
