71 Baakefball EIGHT GIRLS RECEIVED the honor of making up the 1971 Basketball Court. Selected by the various homerooms these eight girls were chosen on the basis of their participation and support given to the Rebel basketball team. Menard was the victim as Pineville pulled in another district win among anxious fans. The basketball team chose their cjueen and IXbbie Boyce, senior and varsity cheerleader, was the one to receive the high honor. Charles was a member of the Rebel football team this year and was elected to the position of Chief-of-Staff. Often heard by the boy and girl with the most school spirit, Debbie Bovce and Willie White, is Light my Fire.” Debbie, 1971 Basketball Sweetheart, is a varsity cheerleader. Willie, FHA Beau, played on the Rebel football team. One will never find l.ibba Asher and Joe Galle up a creek. Selected as Most Dependable, Libba is Business Manager of the YA-HOO. Booster captain, and a member of Who’s Who. Joe is editor of the YA HOO and a member of Who’s Who. Always open to the Most Likely to Succeed is the door to opportunity. Penny Darby, member of NHS, is an active participant in the Rebel band. Also active in the band is Jet Clubber Marvin Goodgame. Selected as Prettiest girl and Most Handsome boy were Eva LaBorde and Bobby Tullos. Eva, Booster officer, was selected as the 1971 Homecoming Queen. Bobby, president of Key Club, is a player on the Rebel basketball team. Out on a Limb is the position Lynn Bennett and Russell Futrell often find themselves in as Most Candid.
