One finds as each day passes, that it becomes more important to know what is happening in the world today, how it is influenced by past events, and how it will affect the future. Civics gives the student an inside l«x k at how the government operates and its effect on society. World history tells the story of man’s beginning and his development physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is an elective, but those preparing for college are urged to take this course. American History gives the student an appreciation of this country’s heritage.
