X a-Jioo Staffs The Ya-Hoo, our school newspaper, was named for the original Rebel YelL Students, interested in journalism, compose the staffs. Duties included are selling ads, writing news, sports, and feature stories, planning lay-outs, proofreading, and selling the paper. The election of Rebel Officers is sponsored by the Ya-Hoo each year. Working with the students are Miss Conerly, Mrs. Skeels and Mrs. Cox. Forming an organized squad for all football games, selling season football and basketball tickets, attending basketball games, sponsor ing Homecoming and helping in community projects are only a few of the activities of these staunch supporters of Pineville High School. Miss Stafford, the sponsor, devotes many hours to these girls as she trains them for half time shows, chaperons them to each out-of-town game, takes them on one special trip for pleasure and sees that each girl learns not only how to cooperate, but also how to have fun. Don't forget, girls! Talking and gum-chewing NOW mean extra hours of marching.
