An important part of “every year in Dixie” at Pineville High is the clubs and staffs to which most of our students belong. A wide range of interests are represented in these groups which emphasize music, vacations, hobbies, and service. Through these organizations we have fun, learn cooperation in group activities, and serve our school and our community. At the Menard game, which was played right after the national election. Band and Boosters formed a giant heart, symbolic of Ike's place in the hearts of Americans.

Kepi Staffs The Business and Editorial Staffs of the Kepi have worked diligently throughout the year to make possible this record of A Year In Dixie. • FEATURES STAFF Joan Sasser Marleen Brister Margaret Hickman Selling ads and subscriptions, planning layouts, supervising picture making, getting write-ups and planning the theme are only a few of the tasks the staffs have undertaken. However, no task was completed without the guidance of Mrs. Mattis. Mr. Townsend, and Miss Needham. When the final finished copy of the Kepi has been distributed, the members of the staffs find that every minute, spent in publishing this record, was a minute well-spent.
