In the first game the Rebs went down in defeat to the Menard Eagles. The Juniors were leading up to the last 30 seconds when the Eagles completed a touchdown pass to win the game 13-7. In the second game we again played Menard. It seems as though the breaks were with us in this contest. The Eagles struck pay dirt first in the second quarter, but they missed that important conversion. The Rebs came back in the last 20 seconds to haunt the Eagles by passing for a touchdown, Again the extra point was missed and the game ended in a tie. A long awaited victory came to the Juniors in the third and final game of the season. Drawing first blood, the LaSalle Tigers scored early in the second quarter. But those fighting little Rebs scored in the last 20 seconds of the half and booted the extra point to put Pineville ahead 7-6. Scoring in the third quarter and insuring their win by holding the Tigers scoreless, they went on to win 13-7 and to end the season right.
