Members of the Library Club perform the tasks of checking out books and assisting students in library references. They have undertaken the job of repairing and rebinding the worn books. This club is under the supervision of Mrs. Parker, the Librarian. Pineville High School is a member of the Louisiana Teen-Age Library Association. Huffman, Frank White, Larry DeWitt. Without such a club it would be impossible to train persons to show the visual aids the teachers select for special instructions. Mr. Townsend is the capable instructor for this club.

4-M eiub The 4-H Club of Pineville High School is affiliated with the national organization. Our group is sponsored by the offices of the County Agent and the Home Demonstration Agent. Members work on various projects in homemaking, agriculture, and animal husbandry. The 4-H's stand for head, heart, hands, and health. First row, left to right: B. T. Amateur Radio Club There are so many boys in Pineville High School who are interested in Amateur Radio that Mr. White has had to divide the group into two sections. Study this year has been centered on the Morse Code so that the boys can obtain an Amateur Radio license. One member, John Bordelon, has obtained his license. The group operates a ham station with call letters K-5DTK. Cards have been received from such places as Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Canal Zone.

Cunckwom Staff The Lunchroom Staff prepares the delicious, well-balanced meals that are served to us each day. These experienced workers, under the supervision of Mrs. Gates, are appreciated by all. Back row: Freddie Richards, Max Howard. Office Staff Pupils, who work on the Office Staff, are chosen for their dependability, scholarship, and interest and ability in office work. Their duties consist of running errands, answering the telephone, typing, checking absentees and helping in any other tasks in which they are needed. Projection Staff The Projection Staff, composed of members trained in the use of Audio-Visual equipment, is under the direction'of Mr. Townsend. The boys, who make up this club, aid teachers and classes in showing selected films. Improvements on equipment and the projection room are being made each year.
