Hunting and dishing The Hunting and Fishing Club is not just a club in which members swap fish tales and Hunting tales. Mr. Rivet and the members also discuss ways to improve their skills in these beloved sports. Special programs are given on care of equipment, duck hunting, favorite fishing spots, and game laws. The highlight of the year is a fish-eating contest held during the annual fish-fry. These students are interested in promoting a growing appreciation of the joys and satisfactions of homemaking. The F.H.A., sponsored by Mrs. Skeels and Mrs. Wakefield, is affiliated with the national organization. Delegates have attended Parish, District and State Conventions. Projects sponsored by the club this year have included sale of Christmas cards and a powder-puff football game. 9. M. J.
