PINEVILLE vs. BUNKIE The Rebels of Pineville played their first real game of the season against the Panthers of Bunkie. In spite of the disadvantage of playing away from home, they managed to come out on top with a score that looked mighty good to home town fans, Pineville—13, Bunkie—0. Here we see quarterback Philip Washington carrying the ball on a quarterback sneak. PINEVILLE vs. LEESVILLE A strong Wampus Cat team from Leesvillc edged by Pineville 7 to 6 to give the Rebels their first defeat of the season. It was a very interesting, close game affording plenty of excitement for the fans. “T” Ferrier is seen crossing the goal line for a touchdown which was called back because of an offside penalty against the Rebels. PINEVILLE vs. MANY The Pineville Rebels’ next foe was the Tiger team of Many. Rebels met Tigers in Tiger territory and emerged victorious by a score of 26-0. Philip Washington is shown gaining yardage for the Rebel team.

PI NEVILLE vs. MANY Later in the Many game, “T” Ferrier, carrying the hall around left end, helped to demonstrate the Rebel power that existed even in rainy weather such as prevailed during that game. PINEVILLE vs. WEST MONROE This game held in West Monroe was a battle of Rebels against Rebels. The Scarlet and Gray of Pine-ville completely outclassed the Blue and Gray of West Monroe. “T” Ferrier is pictured going over for the first touchdown of the game on a pass from Washington. PINEVILLE vs. WEST MONROE A second shot of the Pineville Rebels’ first experience with an afternoon game shows Philip Washington going over for another touchdown on a thirty-five yard run. The final score of this game was 33-0 in favor of the Pineville Rebels.
