Lunchroom Directors “Hmm, smells good.” “Wonder what we’re having for dinner today?” “Hope it’s as good as usual.” These are remarks heard about the delicious meals served to students and faculty by Mrs. Hammons and her co-workers in the lunchroom. This group of trained and experienced ladies renders to us an invaluable service by planning and serving such tempting, well-balanced meals. To them we say “Thank you” for a job well done. Vera Byrd. Mrs. Hammons. Director; Mrs. Shannon. Mrs. Tarver. Mrs. Price, Clara Byrd. Maintenance This Pineville High School staff is one of the most active and necessary staffs of the whole school. With overflowing energy, they can be seen hurrying about the building and grounds, replacing broken window panes, sweeping halls, washing windows, and generally keeping our surroundings clean and in tip-top shape. These men have spent much time this year in the landscaping of our school grounds. Mr. Louis Bonnctte and Joseph Page.

Office Staff The Office Staff plays a most important part in the daily activity of any school. Our staff members are chosen from the students in the study halls. They aid Mrs. Mc-Burney in collecting and checking absentee sheets, filing records, and keeping schedules straight. In addition to these duties they dash ail over the building with announcements and other messages from the office. Projection Staff The Projection Staff sponsored by Mr. Townsend is one of Pineville High School’s favorite staffs. The staff shows films which stimulate interest in the various classroom subjects.
