Library Staff Pineville’s Library Staff is a very efficient organization. It serves the school by helping students and teachers find needed materials and information. All books must be checked in and out by this reliable staff. Under the able leadership of Mrs. Parker the staff members label and put into circulation new books. A special of this staff is the informative bulletin board which keeps the students posted on new literature. First row: Ruby Vicknair, Laverne Smith. Joyce De Witt, Betty June Prochaska. Bookroom Staff The Bookroom Staff, an efficient and dependable staff of our school, is organized to help students get and keep up with their books. “I’ve lost my book” is all you have to say to make this group swing into action. The members work in the bookroom at their vacant periods. Under the direction of Mr. Hilburn. the Bookroom Staff is doing its full share of work for Pineville High School. Charles Beaver, Blanchard Carroll, Billy Dollar. Charles Branton, Taylor McNeel. Canteen Staff At recess almost everyone may be found in the canteen buying a snack to keep up his energy until lunch. This alert and patient staff is constantly ready to serve the students in every possible way. All profits made over the cost of operation are put into school funds. Mr. Robert Cook. Paul Rogers. Office Staff The Office Staff plays a most important part in the daily activity of any school. Our staff members are chosen from the students in the study halls. They aid Mrs. Mc-Burney in collecting and checking absentee sheets, filing records, and keeping schedules straight. In addition to these duties they dash ail over the building with announcements and other messages from the office. Projection Staff The Projection Staff sponsored by Mr. Townsend is one of Pineville High School’s favorite staffs. The staff shows films which stimulate interest in the various classroom subjects. Members of the projection staff show the pictures at their vacant periods during the day. Sitting: Donna Conn, Doris Almgren, Barbara Arnold, Betty Ruth Nugent, Murrell, Elaine Price.
