4-H Club The 4-H Club, whose four H’s stand for head, heart, hands, and health, is always trying to make the best things better. Pineville’s club is a member of the national organization. the purposes of which are to promote better thinking, to foster greater loyalty, and to increase one's ability to produce good farm products. McKenzie. F rench Club “Comment allez-vous?” In the Pineville French Club this phrase is common among its mademoiselles and monsieurs. The club not only broadens its knowledge of the French people and their language but also learns the history and customs of France. This club sponsored by Miss Conerly limits its membership to those who have had a year or more of French.  F.N.A. The Future Nurses of America sponsored by the Women’s Medical Auxiliary bands together students who are interested in the nursing profession. Guest medical speakers are often invited to the monthly meetings. A-inong the projects planned for this year are a first aid course and a tour of a local hospital. Pineville’s chapter of the Future Teachers of America is a national and state organization named for Miss lassie Moore, the club sponsor. Its aim is to familiarize interested students with the teaching profession and to introduce to them some of the many problems they, as teachers will someday face. Often at their meeting guest speakers discuss with them the many different fields in which they may teach.

Senior Hi-Y The Senior Hi-Y sponsored by Mr. Hutchinson has as their pledge “to create, maintain, and to extend throughout the school and community high standards of Christian Character.” The requirements for membership are clean speech, athletics, living, and scholarship. The hoys endeavor to put these concepts into practical use. Hi-Y is an international organization composed of boys who are outstanding in their respective schools. Gary Hays, Jim Breeding.
