WE have gone one more step on our journey from Rags to Riches and we feel very important. We were off toa flying startwith a get-acquainted party early in the fall. To further social relations we held a skating party in March. We didn't neglect our studies either, because three of our members, - Martin Palermo, Carol Stephens and Willie Sheldon became Freshmen in January. Since our treasury was not over-stocked, we eagerly sold cards and candy to build itupa bit. Our Scout deed for the year con- sisted in helping the Ways and Means Committee of the P.T.A. sell Easter candy. Next year we'll be Freshmen - Oh Boy! lst Row: R. Crumb, B. Felt, P. Earle, E. Happy and care- free we breezed through all those easy subjects as we eyed with delight, ond envied those dignified Seniors. We are impatient to show that we too are Ieoders. We had a class party and we are still nursing the bruises of our first skating party. To earn money we presented a one-actploy and sold candy during the noon hour. We feel that we have a good start on our iourney to find the pot of goId at the end of the rainbow. lst Row: W. Rugg, C. Towne, B. Pattison, G. Morey, L. Smith, R. Smith. 2nd Row: B. Tatchell, J. We reached the first rung of the golden ladder when we chose Richard Mansfield for our president and to assist him we elected Georgia Milspaw, vice president, Patty Dunfield, secretary, and Judith Greenlee, treasurer. Eagerly we sold Daisies for the Lions Club. Gaily we planned our class party and sold Christmas candy for the P.T.A. Each day we worked and learned from our class advisors, Mr. Dorman and Mrs. Oehser. lst Row: D. lvett, N. Carver, J. Kelley, S. Harvey, J. Greenlee, G. Green. 2nd Row: R. Mansfield, N. Houben, E.
