EDUCATION WEEK 'Q--bf? COMMITTEE - MR. MARVIN XVERLEY. MRS. IOSEPHINE STODART. MRS, RUTH LIHRIST. Education Week was observed at the Pine Grove Area Ioint High School with the innovation of Career Day. The committee in charge invited representatives from surround- ing colleges and nursing schools to participate in the program, Students of the High School entered into the program and gained a great deal of valuable information. Students were unanimous in their request to make this an annual event. Another highlight of Education Week was an all-student assembly program explaining the History of Pine Grove Schools, Past. Present, and Future. Eelt boards were used to illus- trate the material presented. This was received with a great deal of enthusiasm and interest. The committee in charge of Education Week activities was Mr. Marvin O. Werley, super- vising principal: Mrs. Iosephine K, Stodart, teacher of Latin and school librarian. and Mrs. Bruce L.
