STUDENT LIBRARIANS There are now eighty-seven members of the Student Librarians. This group meets every Monday afternoon. The organization is open to any pupil from seventh to twelfth grade. The Librarians have many duties, such as: the repairing of books, checking out of books, keeping books in order, and helping students to find reference material. Members who have served as Librarians for one year are entitled to wear the Librari- an's Emblem. The Senior Librarians receive the Library Medal on grad- uation. The sophomores made different articles from felt for their own use, and the junior and senior members made dress forms for themselves. The club has sponsored the sending of boxes to Germany consisting of clothing, pins, needles, but- tons, and other necessary items voluntarily contributed by the girls. Their social activities included a Christmas party when the girls exchanged gifts and served refreshments. -48-f
