This year the Student Librarians have increased their membership. It was open to members from any grade from seventh to twelfth grade. They have also increased their activities. Their activities include: working at the desk. repairing worn books, doing general housework in the library, checking the shelf list against the books on the shelf, developing a pamphlet file of pictures cut from magazines, mending magazines and keeping magazine shelf in order, reserving special books for students, checking on the books that are overdue, and finding books which need repair. HOME ECONOMICS CLUB This club was organized to give a broader vision of Home Economics and to promote the interests of Home Economics beyond regular class work. Membership is open to all senior high school girls regardless of course. Dur- ing the year, the club sponsored several enjoyable skating parties, and a recording dance. ln their club meetings they worked on wooden projects.
