After learn- FFA is a national organiza- tion that develops leadership among high school and college students through a series of competitive events such as public speaking and parlia- mentary procedure contests and otticer elections. Also, stu- dents learn skills necessary tor placement in agricultural occu- pations. Members who excel in FFA activities have the oppor- tunity to participate in national conventions. The purpose ot FHA was to help youth assume their roles in society through education in the areas ot personal growth, tamily lite, job preparation, and community involvement. One ot the clubs projects was visit- ing a nursing home and mak- ing articles tor the patients.
