A Year Of Rebuilding The Hornet Power . . .led the Pine Bluffs team to a dismal 2-6 season. This marks the first losing year under Head Coach Syd Kaschke, who has a four year record of 20 victories, 15 defeats and 3 ties. Despite a poor season, the Hornets had the 3rd best scoring defense in Texas Trail Conference for 1975. The team was not unnoticed in State and Conference selections. Placing on the All-State team were: Ken Russell, lst team linebacker, Clint Floy, Punter, Bill Baker, 2nd team Defensive End, and Phil Thurlow, Honorable Mention Defensive Tackle. Joining the four previously mentioned on All-Conference are: Mark Haukap, Honorable Mention Offensive Tackle, and Loren Jessen, Honorable Mention Offensive Guard.
