LaGrange Pine Bluffs ,,,,,,,,,, , .,,, ,, , Guernsey Pine Bluffs culminated one of its most successful basketball seasons in several years by winning its last two home games to earn a three way tie for the conference champion ship. During the entire season the team was undefeated in conference play on the home floor. The team also won five out of eight practice games. Norval johnson was the captain. Because of a few bad breaks the boys lost out in the tournament at Wheatland, Wfyoming. Senior Marshall Nussbaum was placed on the Southeast District All-Tourna- ment team because of his performances at Wheatland. Ralph Reed, Marshall Nussbaum and Robert Binning are the graduating seniors on the team but the usual starting line-up consisting of Norval Johnson, Wilbur Bunch, Charles Strube, Jr., Manley Taylor, and Norval Stoneburg will return to form the nucleus of a formidable team next year. Besides constructing all the stands for the Harvest Carnival, they also managed the Bingo stand. The Kimball F.F.A. Chapter visited here January 28. After a meeting was held, they played basketball and had refreshments. The Kimball Chapter returned the meet- ing February 11. On field trips this spring, the members of the class helped each other with their projects. Charles Strube, Jr., Edwin Hopka, and Mr. Rudolph journeyed to Casper where they attended the state F.F.A. convention April 9-11.
