S i dney The 1941 P.B.H.S. football team distinguished itself by being the first team in the history of the school to finish its season undefeated. The six men, pictured above, made up the first team and all played practically every minute of every game and can be truly termed, the six iron men. Johnson, end and back, was the outstanding pass receiver of the conference. Bunch, also end and back, who set the opponents back for many losses, was the outstanding taekler. Elwood is the only center that got away for any touchdowns. Stoneburg stood out as a punter. Nussbaum, back, played a wonderful game for his first year of much playing, and Maroney, end, was in there fighting every minute of every game. Wilbur Bunch captained the team. -14-
