Staff Keeps Busy at PCHS t. Nadine Craig Bookkeeper and Secretary Cafeteria Personnel. Mabel Woodside; LaVerna Schwarz, Cafeteria Manager; Clara Eisenhauer The positions fulfilled by the PCHS Staff joined a to create a collage of effi- ciency. The secretaries filled the needs required by teachers and students to keep the school functioning smoothly. Their “behind the scene” duties included keeping attendance records, typing the daily bulle- tins, and greeting visitors to the office. The cooks provided and prepared full course meals for students eating in the cafeteria. They were also responsible for keeping the kitchen and dining area clean to meet state requirements. Mrs. Stumpe helped with all medical needs. She assisted Mrs. Long- shore with the sight and hearing tests and emergencies that occurred. The janitors worked to keep PCHS neat. They were responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and yard, as well as cleaning up after extra-curricular activities such as basketball games. During the second semester, Virginia Smith and Don Toler joined the janitorial staff. The bus drivers’ duties not only included the daily rounds which began early in the morning, but also making sure that the ath- letic teams and school clubs arrived safely to their destination. Charles Morton became a member of the personnel by joining the i bus drivers’ staff during the second semes- Joan Miller ter of the year. Secretary
