LIEUTENANT CCDMMAINIDERS Left to Right: Fred Pundsack, Presidentg jake Perzia, S tary, Ted Wolfe, Vice-President, Nina Mohr, Treasurer. As Senior classes go, ours is tops! We have been kind to the Freshmen, lenient with the Sophomores, and tolerant of the Juniors. This alone is a great accomplishment, but we have not stopped here. The Seniors have been outstanding in every school activity. Listen to the success story of the Class of '43!! We have led in Football, Basketball, Student Council, Sphinx, Hi-Tri, Hi-Y, Black Masque, Music, Cheerleaders, and Pyramid. In the spring we gave the Gay Goose, our Senior play, which was one of the most successful plays ever staged in P.C.H.S. We chose the following class officers: President CC CC rrrrrrrrrr.r,rrr,rrrrr...... ..rrrr F red Pundsack Vice-President rrrr C rri,, Ted Wolfe Secretary rrrrr ,r.rrrr.rrrr.rrrr.rrrrrrr..,. .,,r - C Jake Perzia Treasurer CC rrrrrr, rrrrrrrrr, rrrrrrrrrrrrre C i..,, rrrrrr,r C Nina Mohr Student Council Representative ,rrrr. ,r.,rr.rrrrr Don Keene Sponsor rra.. C ,.,...,,.rrrrr..,.,,..rrrrr.rrrrrr ,,rrr..,,r C .CCC.C..CCCC C CC..CCFord Dunn Our crowning achievement, of course, takes place in the spring when one of the largest graduating classes in the history of P.C.H.S. will march down the aisle and receive their diplomas. Well, all in all, the last four years have been happy and successful, and We leave with sincere regret. We sincerely hope that each and everyone of us will look back to P.C.H.S. with pride and respect and will remember part of what she has tried to teach us.

U xxsvxfi mu all 4,147 Tl-IE COMMANDING CDFFICERS In spite of the fact than there is a shortage of members of the teaching profession, P.C.I-I.S. has been bestowed with a very fine faculty this year. Besides a faculty that rates tops, we have been fortunate in having Mr. Clyde A. McDaniel as Principal and Mr. Harley F. Quillman as Assistant Principal. Mr. Roy R. Chenoweth began the year as a member of the Social Science Department, but was inducted into the United States Army in February. Mrs. Tillie McGuire has filled the vacancy in this department. Aside from the regular daily classes, some of the teachers have taught night classes, such as, Spanish, taught by Miss Baudisong Typing I and II, taught by Miss Getzieg Shorthand I, taught by Miss Brownlee, Agriculture, taught by Mr. Templeton, and Wfoodworking, taught by Mr. Kellerman. These are all greatly appreciated by the citizens of Pinckneyville and surrounding communities. To these members of the Faculty and to the Faculty members for the past four years, the Seniors are more than grateful. These people have been untiring in their efforts to prepare us for our future life. To these people we give undying thanks. liirsr Rim-Iiurli Curtis, Home Iiconomicsg Ray Ramlolph.
