Sponsor Mrs Lucas Linda and Terry offer some advice. Lmes 0 F me W ork The members of this year's Art Club, sponsored by Mrs. Lucas, were of great help to every part of daily school life. An interesting fact is that they involved themselves not only in fine arts but also in other phases of cultural development, such as dancing and drama. Led by President Pat Ettig, the club's twenty members were hopeful of visiting some nrt galleries, While in school, their main activity was painting props for school plays.

McNulty, Sponsor, Mrs. Andresen. 0f Strong Will Prestige, honor class . . . are all invaluable reasons for wanting to be a Varsity Club member. To qualify for induction you must earn a Varsity letter in any ofthe seasonal sports. Then you must have a strong will and an iron stomach to struggle through the initiation ceremonies. Led by their sponsor, Mr. l-land, the Varsity men shower the initiates with various gifts of welcome, and before they're through, Burp! After surviving this, you are a Varsity man. The 1970-71 Varsity Club, advised by Mr. Hand. This year Mrs. Andresen sponsored the Girls Athletic Association. Their group was mainly concerned with the participation in sports within our school. They had various activities throughout the year, that included a little sister night, a pajama party, and at mother's night. The success of this group may be easily summed up by looking at the large amount of interested girls who involved themselves in athletics.

Sponsored by Mrs. Swarthout and led by President Jan Keiser, the club's main project wus to send thc Boys Maxi-Training School in Whitmore Lake games and ski-bands. They had a Christmas drive for food and clothing but their overall involvement extended the year-round. Merrie and Nita get the gCtl1ll!S ready for Maxcy's
