One person who does a lot to keep our school clean is Mr. Russell. Mr. Cates, another custodian, keeps our halls uncluttered. People behind the scenes in our school are the cooks, Who provide us with nutri- tious lunches, our bus drivers who get us to school on time in the morning, and the cus- todians who you don't often see in the halls until the 2: 15 rush is over. Without these people adding their personal touches, Pinckney High School would not run as smoothly as it does. Communication Means English With three new members added to the staff this year, the English Department is rapidly taking on a new image. New courses are being offered to supplement traditional courses. It is hoped that every student will be able to locate his own area of interest in the field of English. English has too long been thought of as the "oth- ern subject. We hope after this year that it is referred to as a subject to be taken, not avoided.
