Hustle I The aim of both Track and Cross Country, is to build up character in the athlete, and second, it gives a boy a chance to get rid of any excess energy in a constructive manner. Track and Cross Country are both individual sports but they stress team unity. Each boy is on his own during competition. If he does his individual job, he is helping the team. In Track and Cross Country this year, we have eight or ten lettermen. The Coaches, Jim Wicker and Tom Wilson, feel there is no way to go but up. With the fine nucleus we have, as well as other members of a fine Cross Country team, an exciting year of Track and Field we have had.
