SENIOR CLASS HISTGRY The students of the Senior Class of 49 started four most pleasantly spent years at Pima Hlgh ln the year of 1945 with an enrollment of 32 members This Freshman year 1n which we thought we knew everything proved enjoyable and helpful with lVIr Armack and the teaching staff at the head of our reins This freshman class moved up to the bracket of Sophomores after a year of fun with Alene Lines Max Green and John Crum as our most able officers Back to Pima High in 1947 came the same 32 members with an 1n creased interest in life and school With this school spirit we had an eventful year with the help of our advisor Le Roy Saline and our officers .Tumor Chatfield Philis McBride and Bulan Weech This year ended with a class of students boastlng the same companionship with which as Freshmen we started although the membership was reduced to 29 Twenty five of the Sophomores came back to the Pima Blue and Gold boys and girls mostly girls were brought through with flying colors The officers of this year were Max Green Phyl1sHay1ne andSamm1e .To Clark with the help of our advisors Gale Mortenson and Le Roy Sahne This year was toped off with the Junior Prom which has been said to be an event not to be surpassed in arrangement This last year when we wish we were smart Freshmen again has been eventful and enjoyable with the help of our willing and able spon sors Paul Goodman and Curt1s Kimball and with the help of our re liable officers B1lly Bryce Keith Ferrin and Katherine Costner The Senior Class of 49 as a whole look forward to our graduation as an event well worth working for but as the time draws close it is found hard to think of leaving good old Pima High and its teaching staff But as we pass as just another group of students who have had four years any one of us cannot forget we say not good by but keep Pima High as we all know it is today Student Body to start an active school year as Juniors.
