Pilot Mountain’s first season, the White Terrors made quite an im¬ pression on the six man football enthusiasts throughout the state . . . Although they lost half of their games, the boys were capable of beating the state cham¬ pions at the end of the season . . . With only eight days of practice under their belts, the P.M.H.S. boys opened their season by dropping their first two games to Griffith and Rural Hall . . . The boys came into their own by walloping Old Town 38-6 . . . After dropping a close one to Glenn High’s Powerhouse to the tune of 31-20, the Terrors plowed through Griffith for sweet revenge by a score of 24-18 . . . Then closed the season by trampling Old Town 44-6.
