Merlyn Olk Dale Harney Norma Bernthel Shirley Kuester Class Reporter Merlyn Glk Norma Bernthal Activities This bright junior clsss began its high school year with e total enrollment of twenty-four members but was very sorry to lose en important member, Duene Dye, due to polio. On December l end 2, under the eble direction of Mr. Peterson, we successfully presented our class play, NJust Ducky'. Dean Heer- menn represented our clsss in the declemetory contest et Norfolk. On the seventeenth of January, 1950, we sponsored a high school sock hop following the Stanton vs. Pllper besketbell gems in our gymnasium. Everyone enjoyed the generous lunch of sandwiches, pop, cupcakes end ice-cream. Prizes were given for the loudest socks end the biqrest feetg n picture, which can be found in the snapshot section, was taken of the indivlduele receivinp ewerds.Derlene Vra- solr wes the junior cendidate for homecoming queen. We honored the graduetln? seniors with a banquet which was served at the Methodist church. The surroundings were very beautifully decorated uelne the theme, Nloonlight end Roses.N Following the banquet everyone enjoyed themselves dsncing.
