The Lettermen's Club is composed of a group of boys who have earned their letters by participating in such sports as football, basket- ball, baseball, and track. All through the year the members took turns selling refreshments at the games to raise funds for the initiation of new members and for their annual picnic at the end of the School year. The Lettermen's Club is one of the most active clubs in the school with its members going all out to make their annual picnic better than ever. The club sponsor is Coach Wm. P. Davis who is sometimes assisted by Coaches LeSueur Goddard, Berger and McCullar. Selling Refreshments at the Basketball Games

BOYS' ALLIANCE i fi CABINET MEMBERS AND OFFICERS Left to right: Towles, Bowen, Montgomery, Lifsey, Ellis, vice-president, Fisher, president, Alexander, secretary-treasurer, Baxter, Casto, Mr. Zeitlin, sponsor. The Boys' Alliance is a club made up of all the boys enrolled in school. Their chief func- tion is to help newly registered students, to provide greater service, and to stimulate more activities in the school. This is the first year Phoenix Technical School has had a boys'organization of this type. The Boys' Alliance teamed up with the Girls' League to sponsor a dance November 4th, In addition, they co-sponsored the Leadership Workshop and the play BOLTS and NUTS. On February l7th the B.A. put on an assembly program which provided much amusement for the boys as well as that for the audience. THE LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP BANQUET

Club, which is in its third year at Tech, consists of officers, non-coms, and seniors. The Military Ball, which the club sponsors, is one of the most colorful and out- standing affairs of the year. ln addition to regular meetings, the Battalion Picnic held at the end of the year for all members of R.O.T.C. is sponsored by the club. ART CLUB nl il 34.14 The main purpose of the Art Club is to further the appreciation of Commercial Art Q u his among its members. This aim, directed through the efforts of an executive committee, prompt- ed the series of lectures presented by leading business people in advertising and related fields. The regional showing of the National Schol- astic Art Awards co-sponsored by the Valley National Bank and Phoenix College provided an opportunity for the Art Club to win I4 awards.
