Their loss was to North High in the season opener. The Squad was mostly sophomores who should give added strength to the Varsity next year. The team was lead by George Sandoval, quarterback, whose signal calling and passing played a great part in the team's success. Henry Ohlinger and Willie Joe McGee, ends, were outstanding on offense, and on defense it was Tom Viscogliosi, guard, Oscar Grant, half-back, and George Quesada, center, who played outstanding ball.

O Total ............ 45 Total ............ 61 The scoring was accomplished almost entirely by the passing of Dick Wilson to the various receivers including Frank Tease, Towns and Lindsey for touchdowns. The outstanding feature of the frosh team was the rugged play of the defensive line, especially in the last two games. The blocking ot Staggers and Brandon was also consistently good.
