I learn from raindrops on a window, each one rhythmic in the sun. A bundle of roses and a spirit backstage, knowing an experience, songs of other men's raindrops, sitting in a field in an aftermath. Albatross and the black forest, circles of inner tubes, Betsy' fort, laughter from Snow-bowl forests, jennifer's wall, letters in my own fumbling, bumbling way, the Knight of Swords' odyssey. So all my songs are raindrops-- reflections reaching for Suzanne's hand, searching for that unfound door. Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see.
