Principal Mr. Kenneth Lutz came to Phillipsburg High School, his Alma Mater, after completing his college education at Moravian College and obtaining a Masteris Degree from Lehigh University. He has extensive training in the field of Guidance and Student Personnel Service. He worked with vocational technical students at WVarren Technical School and was Guidance Director at Delaware Valley Regional High School before returning to P.H.S. as Principal. During his first year, Mr. Lutz, has successfully innovated a rotat- ing schedule, student I.D. cards, Commons Areas and the first Community Pep Rally on the eve ofthe Thanksgiving Day game. He has stressed responsible freedom forthe schools, citizens and their response has been gratifying. Change is a necessary part of growth and when it is accomplished as orderly as it was this past school year, it is due to the fine cooperation that exists between Administration and Faculty at Phillipsburg High School. Mr. Lutz has always been interested in and deeply concerned about young people, thus he chose the field of education in which to build his future. It has been a wise choice - good for him and good for the students whose lives he has touched. We hope he will enjoy a long career here as principal, as much as we, the students, enjoy his being our leadern. Like Father, Like Daughter we-.ww
