' 3:5514 L, X ' 'y f Q. 2 TMNT Under the supervision of the Executive Ofiicer, the Administration Department is composed of the Captain's Office, Personnel Office, Legal Office, Information and Education Office, Print Shop, Public Information Office, Master-at-Arms Force and Chaplain's Office. Maintaining the records of approximately twenty-five hundred men keeps the Yeomen and Personnel Men very busy. All legal problems from Captain's Mast to General- Courts Martial are handled by the Legal Oflice. d 1 J L: lp. nd ELF 11, AH Ss x al D11 X . COMMANDER, ATG - 2 Commander Paul M. Paul, USN Commander Paul Moore Paul, USN, was graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in 1940. In 1943 he became a Naval Aviator. Commander Paul saw action in World War II at the Battle of Midway on the USS PENSACOLA. He was awarded the Navy Unit Citation for his services on the escort carriers USS SANGAMON and USS CHENANGO, where he served as a fighter pilot in the Battle of Okinawa. He also holds the Distinguished Flying Cross, Four Air Medals, and the Presidential Unit Citation. Included among his campaign ribbons are the Pacific Asiatic and the American Theater. On Au ust 13 1955 while serving as Commander Air Task Group TWO USS PHILIPPINE SEA, g 9 9 9 Commander Paul was commended by the Secretary of the Navy ' For outstanding performance of duty as a pilot of a jet aircraft in Air Task Group TWO, attached to the USS ESSEX, on 10 April, 19547 The Navy Commendation Ribbon was presented to him by the former PHIL SEA skipper, Captain Herman L. Ray, USN. Commander Paul's home is in Lancaster, Pennsyl- vania. He is the son of Mr. Sampson Paul of Beaulort, South Carolina. f QW r 4' I3
