Affectionately called 'Q the heli- copter rescued a total of ten personnelg nine pilots and one man who fell over- board. Although the primary mission of qltlllf. is rescue work, the nCoptern carried 647' passengers, 10,350 pounds of cargo, 6,495 pounds of mailg flew 1,060 flights for a total of 772 hours: and maintained 1007 availability. The average time spent in the water by the rescuees was two and a half minutes.
