Lieutenant Commander Richard McDaniel is a native of Jackson, Tennessee where he was raised and graduated higl'1.,i?-if.g.e-gz:y Q school. He was commissioned out of Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps where he received a Bachelor of Arts I Degree in History from Memphis State University in August 1992. He is a 2006 Distinguished Graduate of the War College where he obtained a Master's degree in National Security Affairs and Strategic Studies. k r 1 During his iniiiai sea tour he was the communications officer for uss ENGLAND too 223 from April 1993 to 1994. His next assignment was in USS PAUL HAMILTON CDDG 605 as First Lieutenant, Ordnance Officer, Strike Officer, and Weapons Officer from January 1994 to November 1997. His first Department Head tour was as Combatilgwf System Officer in USS OBANNON CDD 9865 from Oct 2000 to April 2002. His follow on tour was as Operations for Destroyer Squadron Six. His follow-on sea assignment was as Scheduler Strike Officer and Maritime Operations' Officer for Carrier Strike Group Twelve from January 2004 to April 2005. Q- Lieutenant Commander McDaniel's shore duty assignments include Officer Manpower Requirements Analyst at the -CLJ Naval Manpower Analysis Center from 1997 to 1999 and a student of the Naval War College from 2005 to 2006. Lieutenant Commander McDaniel has been awarded the Navy-Marine CorpsCommendation Medal with Three Gold Stars and the Navy Achievement Medal with Two Gold Stars. f 7 . .. .

KM f CMDCMQSWISSI Dennis G. Harper . Master Chief Harper is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in 1978 and y M enlisted in the Navy later that same year. He attended recruit training in Orlando, Florida. Following recruit 'Wig if completed Torpedomen Mate A school where he graduated with honors. . I , l:lAft9Y completion of Submarine school in April 1979, he reported to USS GEORGE WASHINGTON QSSBN 5981 -5Z.r'f' ' he completed five deterrent patrols sewing as Deck Division Leading Petty Officer. He received his Enlisted ,',r. 1 M Submarine Warfare in a record two months. L..' 5..1.1,jj,.EIIn October 1982, Master Chief Harper transferred to Navy Recruiting District Indianapolis, Indiana for duty as in Charge of a four man recruiting office. During his tour Master Chief Harper enlisted 139 Sailors and received of Commendation. Following this tour, He reported to USS KAMAHAMAHA QSSBN 6427 where he V 'fi I one deterrent patrol. Upon crew consolidation for overhaul, Master Chief Harper transferred to the new construction , - crew for the USS SAN JUAN QSSN 7515 as Torpedo Division Leading First Class Petty Officer. Selected for Chief r-rr'il j-,jl,Officer, he transferred to PCU PASADENA CSSN 7521 serving as First Lieutenant and Torpedo Division Leading Petty Officer. ff' A , l1lFollowing his tour on PASADENA, Master Chief Harper transferred to the staff of Commander Submarine twenty-tvvo in La Madelana, Italy where he assumed duties as Assistant Weapons Officer from November 1990 to 1992. From there he was assigned to the Bureau of Naval Personnel as a detailer from December 1992 to 1995 liQIQfj .,f i f :III Following this tour Master Chief Harper attend the Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, Rhode Island. At 'i'school, he received the Navy League Award for Excellence in Achievement . Upon graduation, he reported to HARTFORD QSSN 7685 for assignment as Chief of the Boat. During this tour he guided the crew on the ship's t??'5ffi'?5 7i9fNonhern Atlantic deployments. Additionally, the ship received Submarine Squadron Four Battle Efficiency Award 1998. p rigi:,ie.,Uln'AUQUSf 1999, Master Chief Harper reported to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi as the Command Master Chief 'During this tourNAS Corpus Christi earned the Retention Excellence Award for retention in 2001.
