Admin is, by far, one of the most demand- ing divisions to work in. lt consists of Division ,PNC ISVVJ Harry Garland PNC ISWJ Decosta Holmes Q44 YN1 Chester Tantillo PN3 Ivory Holder Yeomen, Personnelmen, Postal Clerks and Career Counselors. Each rate performs their own separate' function in the Ship's Office. The PN's provide the crew with infor- mation about advancement requirements, rights and benefits, legal aid and educa- tion, while maintaining records and files. The YN's handle the secretarial and clerical work in addition to receiving service records and files. The PC is considered a hero for simply having the word Mail Call passed. He also performs a variety of duties '- such as preparing customs declarations, 2 59 record keeping and maintenance of directo- ry service and locator files. The ship's NC is never at rest, due to the always advancing career sailors. He provides information about career opportunities and assists in 'Wh HMC ISWJ Douglas Roth tailoring each individual for the perfect career. The WARDOG Doctors are forever tending to the crew's health care and training of first aid. We work with first aid, minor surgery, patient care and issue prescriptions. We also keep medical and dental records up to date by administering vaccinations and making appointments with the Group Doc- tor. Medical is an important factor in maintaining WAR- DOG readiness. Six pilots and 15 enlisted men make up the team for the most sophisticated anti-submarine war- fare helicopter, the SH-60B Seahawk. The Cutlass 463 and Cutlass 470 are expertly maintained by the AD, AE, AT, AZ and AM rates. These professionals perform the demanding maintenance on their aircraft in order to keep them in Up status, Detachment Seven set a new LAMPS MKIII milestone by exceeding 96 consecu- tive days of a Full Mission Capable Rate for two aircraft in addition to a IOOWJ sor- tie completion rate. Flying over 800 mishap free hours. Detachment Seven has proven that they can do it all and do it safely. Setting the example for all Air Det'S to follow.
