As ET's, we main- tain the ship's Air and Surface Search Radars, Navigation Radars, Indentifica- tion Friend or Foe IIFFJ equipment, TACAN Beacon, and Satellite Navigation Receivers. We also maintain exterior com- munications and data links so we can stay informed of news from home and communicate with the rest of the battle group while deployed. As IC men, we are responsible for the ship's gyro Compasses . We also maintain the interior com- munication network so the crew can com- municate quickly and efficiently through- out the ship. CE division is proud to be the chief opera- tors of the MARS Military Affiliated Radio Systeml station. This allows the crew to communicate with loved ones back home during extended deployments. A wide variety of films are also provided for the crew's enjoyment through divisional oper- ations of the ship's Closed-Circuit Televi- sion System. We are proud of the role we have in the ship's safe navigation, reliable communication, and morale boosting ability.
