It is with heart in hand and tears in our eyes that WC As the bell in the tower rings its last summons, we the Class of '65 find ourselves recalling all the joys and th bid a fond farewell to our classmates, our hallowed halls, our teachers, and most of all, our advisors. It is not very often that a class is fortunate enough to have people like Mrs. Miriam Howard, Mrs. Dorothy Niles, Mr. Donald Ninestine, and Mr. Fred Davis to guide its members along the hard traveled road of growing UP- In appreciation of all they have done for us we take this opportunity to say, Thank you. 3 gg1v,, ,,., : . 5.-. ma-n -vu----V-.P-v A V -t.,fv,,+.-.. - rv-,--- , guy. . r V , ,VJ ,, f is gf a .1 9' . 141 . Ofuer Goof Mr Oliver Cook, known to all as Coach, has been head of Physical Education at our school for almost twenty-four years and could truly say that he has watched our class grow to its present status. Through the years, Coach Cook has had many successful seasons in football, basketball, baseball and track While winning many games, his example of losing without excuse, shows that any coach can win, but it takes a great coach to take defeat graciously. This has been one of the prime reasons why Phelps Central has won so many sportsman- So in recognition of his years of service to our school and for the high example he has set as a coach and a man, we, the Class of 1965, dedicate this book to Mr. Oliver Cook. -Q 'T 990606111012 cyjefndfdi QDQSGGIDP Bernie We, the class of '65 are sincerely grateful to Mr. DesCamp, always ready to give his time and energy, to support our social and athletic activities. Your sincere interest in devotion to the youth of our school and community has been evidenced by your willingness to devote your time, effort, and understanding, whether it be driving a bus to a game or presiding over a meeting of the local P.T.A. 3 , .1-1.4 4,.vp-.M . - . .gup- 4.11--1 ,..l 5 5-...uIa.ulJ-FE-'?s'i ' ,Q A .l.. -fl. ..-Y i. w J..
