In Appreciation g l MR JOHN JARVIS MR. ELLIOTT JOHNSON MISS MARY LOUISE CONNOLLY As the curtain lowers on the last act of our high school career, we, the Class of 1964 7 have become aware of the patience, time, guidance, and understanding given us by our advisors. To Miss Connolly, Mr. Jarvis, and Mr. johnson we say Thank you for helping us to make our many activities successful. If we seemed unappreciative at the time, we realize now that without your leadership and worthwhile opinions our days at P.C.S. could never have been so meaningful. M1 CFQ FIRST H ROW: lgiiixir ' 1

,,D9d1CC1l1OU ,f fa 'P'-'25 W-QWWMQ MR. AVERY HOLLENBECK Now, as we have reached our final year at Phelps Central, we should be grateful to those people who have made our school years more meaningful. Among those who rank foremost in our minds is Mr. Avery Hollenbeck. Mr. Hollenbeck, known to all as Avery, had been a custodian at our school for almost twenty years and could truly say that he had watched our class grow to its present status. In the elementary grades it was often Avery who cleaned up after us, and in later years it was he who was often on duty at our class activities. Most of all we remember his humorous jokes and his smiling countenance, which was always evident. Avery was truly a friend to all students at the school, and we shall just begin to realize how much a part of Phelps Central School he was and how much we miss him. Therefore, in recognition of his service to the school, we, the Class of 1964, dedicate this book to the memory of Mr. Avery Hollenbeck.
