Many hours of work have gone into this year's publication. There have been moments of confusion, anxiety, and abso- lute hopelessness, but for all those who helped it was worth it. He is .Ibrahim Okur from Eskisehir, Turkey, who was sent to Phelps through our local American Field Service chapter. Ibrahim has given us many hours of pleasure by describing his country and its customs to us. He has been very interesting and friendly to everyone. He was a member of the varsity soccer team this year and taught the other players a great deal about the sport, since it is his national sport. He also enjoyed helping us decorate for the senior ball, which was a new experience for him. We shall certainly miss Ibrahim and shall always have fond memories of him. He has been an excellent ambassador of good will and has certainly helped in improving foreign relations between his country and ours. May this understanding and good will continue in the future so that world peace may some day be a reality.
