On 1V1arch 26, we ended our tirst year 01 high sc11oo1 with a round and square dance ca11ec1 Frosh Froiic. As Sophomores, we had two advisors who remained from our freshman year. They were: 1V1iss Priscilla Jones and 1V1r. 1V1i1an Krchniak. Vve were sorry to 1oose Miss 1V1undy, but we were very glad to we1come 1V1iss Margaret Coiamino in her p1ace. The following were choosen: Beth Fa114ey, president: Dorothy Nayaert, vice-presidentg Armeda Edington, sec- retaryg George Bonne11, treasurer, and Harvey Smith, assembiy representative. With very ambitious plans for boosting our treasury, we held a sophomore dance on November 12, 1955, which proved to be a great success. The ciass presented an assembiy program on March 18, 1955, which was the 1i1e of Mr. VVi1bur K. Hartmann, adapted from the television program This 1s Your 1..i1e.H It was greatly enjoyed by a11. As juniors, we had visions of c1ass rings, the prom, and the ieeiing of being upper c1assmen. Vve were sorry to 1oose one of our advisors, 1V1iss 13risci11a Jones, who resigned 1rom P.C.S. to study in Paris. Vvith the aid of our advisors, 1V1iss Coiacino and 1V1r. With great excitement, we ordered our c1ass rings in November and after wait- ing impatientiy, they arrived in March. On Apri1 6, we presented an assembly program made up 01 imitations of the top singers, singing the 1atest songs. The Qrient was the setting for our Junior Prom, ca11ed Qrientai Evening, held on 1V1ay 18, 1956, ending our junior year. 1n the 17a11 of 156, forty-three seniors assemb1ed to embaric on the projects that wou1d bring the dreams of New York City to rea1ity.
