S. lie- view Staff met every Tuesday activity period and seven issues were published during the year. - The editorial staff consisted of Alberta Oiaks, Editor-in-Chief, Beverly Hul- ster, James Gleason, Associate Editors: Catherine Sabin, Art Editor, Rocco Alexan- der, Mary Steen, Sport Editors, Velma Adams, B-usiness Manager, Patricia Gifford, Cineulation and Exchange Editor. The Review exchanged copies with ten other schools this ye-ar. Miss Connolly, Mr. Hartmann, Alberta Oaks, Catherine Sabin, Beverly Hul- ster and Dorothy Leverty attended a newspaper clinic in Rochester, New York put on by the Rochester Times-Union at the Seneca Hotel. In the morning they heard different speakers from the paper who told about their particular jobs and describ- ed various types of newspaper work. In the afternoon the group went through the Times-Union plant where they saw the presses in aktion. 46

Model Airplane Club l Mrl. Wilber, Rodman, Frarey, Foxx The Model Airplane Club under the direction of Mr. Wilber, has, for the Lirst time, been qualified to ryeeeive ta school credit for its work. Also, for the first time, as 1 the boys studied air science, navigation, meterology and pilot qualifications. In the spring Mr. Wilber and the boys attended the third annual State Contest. Howe, Riley, Canne, Peck, Oaks, Harland, V. Howe, Totman, A. Oaks, Smith U11der the guidance of Mrs. Pitrella the club met every Thursday during activity period. NVe selected the following officers: President, Gertrude Totmang Vice President, Marilyn Foster, Secretery, William Scherbyng Treasurer, John Howe. In November, the Dramatics Club made a trip to Rochester to see the Shake- spearnean play Hamlet, NVe put on +a play fort theschool assembly. It was entitled Bessie, the Ban- dit s Beautiful Baby. The first part of the year we worked on pantornines, then worked on our plays and finished the year on choral work. At Christmas time we 'celebrated with a party. We had refreshments, listened to records and exchanged presents. 47
