A. I Linda Frey, Janette Rupp, James Ray, Richard Beck, Arnold Blosser. This grade had a slight taste of high school as they entered the seventh grade. For the hrst time the seventh grade homeroom was on the first tToor ot the old building, The block period in the morning with Mrs, Thelma Rychener kept them in one room for a longer period of time. Their hrst representative to Student Council was sent by the seventh graders this year. They helped to make decisions to keep the school running smoothly. Also, for the Urst time this student group had a class sponsor. Ivlr, Lynn Brown held this position Several members of the class had the new experience ol holding class olhces. They were Wendell Beck, president, Janette Rupp, vice-president, lvlargaret Short, secretary, Linda Frey, treasurer, The seventh grade had the privilege of using new lockers, installed in the lower hall. They also had their own lilnrriry in their room, As a class protect, the seventh grade shared in a magazine selling contest. James l-luhf-r received a watch tor selling the second highest number of magazines. Many ot the students in grade seven helped the cooks in the cafeteria. Dishwashing, cleaning tables, and serving were jobs lor boys as well as girls, 28 36066 peace!
