Alice Goertz, who ,came f r o m Germany, Donnie King,Charles Davis, and Jerry Taylor enrolled later in the year bringing the total to thirty-nine. New subjects introduced in the second grade are spelling and health. Grade Tw Grades 2, L, and 6 were losers i n the March of Dimes contest. A party was given to grades l, 3, and 5 in the late spring. Leslie and Larry Leupp are shown in the lower right picture. They are one of four pairs of twins in school.
