This spring The chorus gave an EasTer CanTaTa Tollowed by iTs appear- ance in The BaccalaureaTe service and CommencemenT programs. In TuTure years, leT us hope Tor a sTill larger demand Tor good vocal music Than ever before. BAND STrilce up The band! We wanT some good music. ThaT is iusT whaT our band can do. Again This year iT played aT several basl4eTball games To help show some pep and give pep To The squad. Besides appearing aT baslceTball games, The band played Tor The iunior class play and iourneyed To Wauseon To play Tor The Farmers' lnsTiTuTe. AlThough our band has been organized only a Tew years, iT does excel- lenT playing. This year Those who did noT have Their music leTTers were noT able To play in public: ThereTore, many players had To work To geT Their leTTers, and The band proTiTed by beTTer playing. There are vacancies in some oT The secTions, so why noT malce iT your duTy To Try To Till Them nexT year? ORCHESTRA The school and communiTy should be proud oT The orchesTra ThaT Mr. Yeager, our able direcTor, has been able To develop Trom This school body. l-le has people Trom The TirsT grade To The TwelTTh inTeresTed in insTrumenTs. Because oT The TacT ThaT he has so many inTeresTed in The grades, he has sTarTed a grade orchesTra which appeared once This year. When The children can play Their insTrumenTs very well, he allows Them To come To The regular orchesTra pracTices. Our orchesTra played beTween The acTs oT The plays and aT The FulTon CounTy Teachers' lnsTiTuTe lasT Tall. Each year beTTer music is played and iT is enjoyed by everyone.
