The girls meet at Mrs. Tewne's three times a week to practice, In spite of the fact that they do not have many public performances, they have s great variety of songs. - Last year the majority of the songs were sung with two ports. However, this year, they src singing three-part songs. Of course, this is more ,difffiult but shows the progress ef the chorus work. . A word of praise is deserved by the dircc ter, Mr. Eminger, who his sacrificed time and pledsure in his untiring efforts to make the Chorus better. Nor should Mrs. Towne, his , . assistant and accompanist, be forgotten. She has been very conscientious and offici- ent, and is always ready to play at any time'- or place.
