Department of Education
Thk Education Department emphasizes theory and practice. In the T. J. Majors Training School everyone has the opportunity of trying his theories of teaching.
The Training School has all the grades from kindergarten through the senior high school classes. Faculty supervisors of student teachers give helpful suggestions as to how to keep Johnny quiet, how to get Mary to do a few lessons, and the answers to at least sixty-nine other problems that confront one who is new in the field of teaching.
